Overview
Engineers today face the challenge of developing increasingly complex systems under tight time constrains – while simultaneously meeting growing requirements for quality, safety and traceability. To address these challenges efficiently, many teams are adopting a model‑based development approach using MATLAB and Simulink.
In this seminar, using an electric drive example, you will see how to go from physical modeling to the design of a control strategy, to automatic code generation and deployment, while continuously testing design artifacts throughout the development process.
The seminar is complemented by a dedicated presentation from Speedgoat, demonstrating how real‑time prototyping and hardware‑in‑the‑loop testing extend model‑based workflows to real hardware, enabling early validation, automated testing, and risk reduction.
You will hear practical examples and lessons learned from industry experts who have applied these approaches in real projects, highlighting tangible benefits in development speed, quality, and confidence.
Highlights
- Improve accuracy and fidelity of your physical models
- Verify control strategies early using system-level simulation
