AI-Enabled Digital Twins: Bridging Design, Simulation, and Operations
Overview
This seminar is an evolution of last year’s digital twin event, and explores the maturity journey of digital twins, from developing standalone simulation models to connected and operational digital representations of physical assets and processes. In addition, we will showcase how agentic AI can accelerate the development and deployment of digital twin models.
We will show how to build a practical digital twin workflow around a triplex pump asset. The session starts with a simulation model of the physical system and demonstrates how it can be used for parameter identification, fault simulation, performance analysis, and architecture validation. We then show how this model can be connected to streaming operational data to support condition monitoring and continuous model updates. The session will also illustrate how this workflow evolves from desktop simulation to an operational digital twin, including how virtual assets can be deployed to test data pipelines and how monitoring algorithms can be prepared for production use.
Highlights
- Develop simulation models and condition monitoring algorithm of assets and processes for analysis and optimization
- Explore the transition from desktop simulation models to operational digital twins
- Leverage agentic AI to accelerate digital twin development workflows
