We are looking for experienced software engineers to join our growing development areas in Simulink product and platform technologies. Simulink is a tool for taking complex systems development from concept to deployment through design, simulation, and automatic code generation.

The ideal candidate will have strong software development skills with a passion for software architecture, and design thinking to deliver next-generation tools that accelerate the pace of developing complex engineering systems.

Responsibilities

As an experienced software engineer, you will design and build new capabilities and architectures in our product suites including Simulink, System Composer, a range of workflow interactive applications, and enabler technology stacks such as agent-based modeling. 

You will be responsible for end-to-end development that includes all stages of software development including requirements specifications, architecture, design, implementation, and testing. In addition, various occasions to showcase your work that demonstrate the product capabilities in customer workflows.  

Minimum Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree and 3 years of professional work experience (or a master's degree, or equivalent experience) is required.

Additional Qualifications

  • Strong programming skills (C++, MATLAB, JavaScript)
  • Experience with object-oriented design and algorithm development
  • Strong communication and presentation skills are a must for this role
  • Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and multi-tasking skills
  • Must be self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Experience with BOOST, STL, and Design Patterns is a plus
  • Experience and or awareness of application domains for Simulink and MATLAB is a plus
