Autonomous Driving Simulation Engineer - Test

Job Summary

Do you enjoy working with Automated Driving software stack and virtual simulation? If so, the Software Engineer in Test in Autonomous Systems is the position for you. As a Quality Engineer at MathWorks, you will be part of the Automated Driving Software Stack. You will use your strong programming background to define test strategies and write automation for various upcoming features for automated driving. You will drive test programs and play a key role in ensuring high quality software that meets the expectations of global customers.


  • Performance and Reliability test of Automated Driving software stack
  • Design and Develop comprehensive Automated test strategies for Automated Driving Applications.
  • Collaborate with all other engineers to resolve product bugs.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Programming experience in C++
  • A bachelor's degree and 5 years of professional work experience (or a master's degree, or equivalent experience) is required.

Additional Qualifications

  • Understanding of Simulation.
  • Experience in Robotics and Probability.
  • Experience with multi-agent system or autonomous systems.
  • Good experience of software testing methodologies, including developing test strategies and test automation

Nice to have

  • Knowledge about DBMS
  • Used any vehicle simulation engine
  • Experience with multi-agent path planning.
  • Experience with perception, planning, and control for autonomous systems.
