MathWorks is currently seeking an experienced Adobe Experience Management (AEM) Developer to join our in-house AEM Development Team in Hyderabad to support hosting our website. The ideal candidate will have experience designing and developing complex Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) solutions, experience translating marketing and IT needs into Adobe solutions, and have experience in a variety of web technologies and IT industry trends. Your role will span all aspects of the software development lifecycle and include working alongside our Marketing, User Experience, Design, and web development teams in a highly collaborative environment where every individual’s input is valued.
All candidates must have excellent communication skills along with a proven ability to solve complex technical challenges.
Responsibilities
- Translate marketing and web site needs into AEM specific solutions
- Design and implement solutions leveraging Adobe AEM Sites
- Leverage knowledge and experience of AEM capabilities and JavaScript, as well as other state-of-the-art technologies and integration patterns to solve cross-departmental challenges and optimize our AEM Investment
- Work in a collaborative, agile, rapid development, and prototyping environment
Minimum Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree and 5 years of professional work experience (or a master's degree, or equivalent experience) is required.
- Experience with Adobe Experience Manager
Additional Qualifications
Experience developing applications, templates, and components for the Adobe AEM/CQ product (WCM, DAM, CQSE, CRX)
Experience customizing workflows and integration with other enterprise systems
Experience with AEM Sites 6.x
Expert knowledge of Java, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS and related technologies
Working knowledge and understanding of the following: Apache Sling, Apache Felix, Apache and App server logs, OSGi, RESTful web services, Javascript, jQuery, AJAX, JSON, HTML, CSS, familiarity with SOLR/Lucene, and RabbitMQ or similar messaging systems
Experience working in a highly collaborative environment with a variety of stakeholders and colleagues
Strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills
Experience and desire to work within a fast-paced, iterative development environment; experience with Agile a strong plus
Ability to write complex programs, analyze code changes and make suggestions to improve code complexity for maintainability and scalability.
Ability to reason logically and creatively, identifying problems, drawing valid conclusions from the data available, and developing effective solutions while applying creative thinking in the design and development of high performing web applications
Familiarity with basic Linux or related platform concepts and commands
Adobe AEM developer certification is preferred
