The Sales Program Management team is responsible for leading the complex programs and projects that evolve and support MathWorks' selling and services models. 

  We are open to the following locations for the opening: Novi, MI, Plano, TX, and Natick, MA.

Responsibilities

As a Sales Program Manager (PM) at MathWorks, you will be responsible for

  • Leading complex projects and programs focused on the evolution of our selling model to improve productivity and efficiency
  • Managing cross functional business process improvement projects, driving future state realization and ensuring effective change management        
  • Driving process maturity and capability, including designing and stewarding KPIs
  • Working with cross functional and peer groups to develop trusted relationships that deliver strong interlocks, collaboration and seamless operational experiences
  • Continuously evaluating your programs and projects to assess what is working well as well as addressing areas of improvement
  • Driving continuous improvement in the team’s PM methodology, templates, and skills through shared learning experiences
  • Enabling management awareness of projects that intersect or impact Sales and Services objectives
  • Coaching and mentoring

Minimum Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree and 12 years of professional work experience (or equivalent experience) is required.

Additional Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience managing complex, cross-functional business/finance or sales projects or programs
  • 7+ years of Sales Operations experience including being well versed in software selling models, methodologies and roles
  • Experience working with a Sales Operations, Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, or Sales Enablement role at a technology company
  • Possesses both a Sales Mindset and Technical Acumen, as well as has experience in building relationships with technically minded staff
  • Outgoing, highly organized, persistent, and tenacious; able to deal with uncertainty and ambiguity
  • Ability to influence others in order to get things done, even with no direct line of authority
  • Expertise in process improvement and change management
  • Proven ability to drive consensus keeping business goals at the center of negotiations
  • Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure, thrive in a fast-paced environment and stay flexible through growth and change
  • Possesses keen knowledge of project management methodologies (including Agile) and supporting tools that can be applied across multiple priorities or projects
  • Advanced organizational, interpersonal, conflict resolution and communication skills which can be comfortably applied across management levels
  • Hands-on experience with developing and reporting on metrics and KPIs for business goals, process improvement projects, and program management
