Become part of a talented team of engineers who build cutting-edge capabilities in variant modeling within Simulink. Simulink is a block diagram environment used by engineers and scientists world-wide for designing automotive, aerospace, and many more domains. Using your software engineering skills you will advance the Simulink Variant Code Generation capabilities for our customers. 

Responsibilities

As a C++ software developer, you will be involved in extending the variants modeling code generation capabilities of the Simulink product family.

In this role, you will impact the direction of a major feature of Simulink. You will gain in-depth knowledge of the Simulink internals and be responsible for ensuring its integrity and architectural consistency for simulation and code generation capabilities. You are expected to participate in all aspects of software development with enthusiasm: collecting requirements, writing specifications, design reviews, coding, and testing. You will also have the opportunity to work with customers to understand requirements for future capabilities in the Simulink product family. 

Minimum Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree and 7 years of professional work experience (or a master's degree and 5 years of professional work experience, or a PhD degree, or equivalent experience) is required.
  • Exposure to algorithm development
  • Familiar with C++

Additional Qualifications

  • In-depth understanding of C++
  • Exposure to compiler technologies – intermediate representations, transformations, etc.
  • Experience in very large code bases – many thousands of files is a plus
  • Experience with MATLAB or Simulink is a plus
  • Experience with Control Systems or Signal Processing is a plus
