Performance and Infrastructure Engineer

Our performance team is in search of a skilled passionate and motivated engineer responsible for identifying and resolving performance issues at every stage in the development cycle. Position also involves development of tools for statistical inference of large data sets. The ideal candidate will thrive in a small high-energy team.

Responsibilities

  • Investigation of performance in MATLAB and Simulink family of products.
  • Develop and maintain automated testing and reporting infrastructure using state-of-the-art technology including HTML, Javascript, CSS, node.js and other front-end Javascript-based frameworks
  • Work closely with Software Development and Quality Engineering teams to address performance issues

Minimum Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree and 3 years of professional work experience (or a master's degree, or equivalent experience) is required.

Additional Qualifications

Must be able demonstrate high level software design skills especially object-oriented design and methodologies.

Experience building and debugging large-scale engineering software.

Ability to take on varied tasks in unfamiliar areas and provide results in a timely manner.

Nice to have:

  • Working knowledge of C/C++, MATLAB, Simulink and its family of products
  • HTML, Javascript, CSS, Database programming
  • Software engineering skills
  • Experience with large code bases
