Job Summary
We help people accelerate the pace of prototyping embedded devices. As a member of the Software Engineer in Test team you would be hands-on testing the MathWorks Simulink Check product set. You will also be ensuring the highest quality in qualification and certification kits provided by MathWorks as products such as DO Qualification Kit and IEC Certification Kit.
Responsibilities
- As a member of the Development team, the candidate will participate in the project from its early design stages and play a critical role in driving it to final product release.
- Writing test suites using MATLAB and developing new test tools to test the functionality of the Simulink Check product tool set.
- As an individual contributor in the Quality Engineering(QE) department, the candidate will work closely with the Simulink Check Development, QE, Documentation, Usability and Technical Support teams.
Minimum Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree and 3 years of professional work experience (or a master's degree, or equivalent experience) is required.
Additional Qualifications

- Programming experience in MATLAB and C/C++.
- Experience with Object-Oriented Programming.
- Experience with industry safety standards such as DO-178 and IEC 61508.
- Experience with Simulink.
- Industry experience in Aerospace, Automotive or similar domains.
- Programming experience in a scripting language such as Perl or Python.
- Hands on experience with HTML, XML, Javascript and GUI testing.
- Knowledge of industry software standards, and methods of Software Development and Quality Engineering.
