Model Configuration Parameters: Floating Point

The Floating Point category enables you to specify the floating point IP libraries. You can specify whether to generate code with native floating point support in HDL Coder™ or with native floating point support and a third-party Intel^® or Xilinx^® floating-point library.

These configuration parameters appear in the Configuration Parameters > HDL Code Generation > Floating Point category.

Parameter	Description
Use Floating Point	Specify use of native floating-point library.
Latency Strategy	Specify minimum or maximum latency.
Handle Denormals	Specify whether to handle denormal numbers.
Mantissa Multiplier Strategy	Specify how to implement the mantissa multiplication operation.
Vendor Specific Floating Point Library	Select vendor-specific floating-point library.
