A factory reset of Ryze® Tello drone clears all the data and restores the drone back to its original state. The factory reset may be required if you encounter the following problems:
The connection to Ryze Tello drone over WiFi is failing, even though the connection was successful earlier.
Ryze Tello drone is powering off immediately after a reboot.
To perform a factory reset, follow these steps
Switch on the Ryze Tello drone and wait for the LEDs to turn green.
Long press the power button for 5 seconds until the indicator light turns off. The indicator light starts to flash yellow. The Wi-Fi SSID and password will be reset to the factory settings and no password is set by default.
After performing the factory reset of Ryze Tello drone, connect the computer to the drone's WiFi (see Connect to Ryze Drone over WiFi).
