Stuck in installation process after accepting terms of license agreement

182 views (last 30 days)
I am trying to download MATLAB through my university's license. I was able to successfully log-in and it brought me to the page to accept the terms of the license agreement. I select "Yes" and then "Next" and then get stuck on this step:
It's been around 30 minutes now and still no movement forward. Any tips?

Thank you for pointing me to the help line! They were able to help me resolve the issue.
For context, I have a license through my university and so the steps to logging in involves 2FA through my university log-in portal. They first asked me a few initial questions like what system I'm using and OS version, how much RAM, and what version of MATLAB am I trying to install. Then they sent me a command to run in my terminal that pulls the logs and asked me to email it to them. That's when they identified there was something funky going on that was causing me to get "stuck" when trying to log-in.
In case anyone else is also running into getting "stuck" when logging in, I did the following steps to bypass this:
  • Enter my MathWorks email
  • When my university log-in portal pops up, exit that window.
  • MathWorks will give you the option to get a one-time code. Follow those steps (involves copy-pasting a URL they give you into your browser, logging in normally with the university portal pop-up in browser, and then obtaining the code) and you will be able to log in!
FYI - I had to do this "trick" for both the initial installation and the first-time logging into MATLAB as I was getting stuck at both steps.
