Hi
I have to do a project where I have to find the shear force and bending moment of a beam. The beam can have any number of point loads and/or distributed loads.
I have attached a copy of the project.
I know how to do the basic things but I am struggling with calculating the shear force and bending moment. The Point Loads and Distributive loads are provided along with their given distances at which they act. However I am not sure on how do I go about calculating the required data from the matrices provided. Also there can be any number of forces acting and I do not know how to go about doing the programming for that.
I am asking for help and guidance and not for someone to do it for me. Thanks

How would you do this with paper and pencil? Anyway, your question is not a MATLAB question.
