I have 115192 time points but only 5805 data points for x and y position data of an animal moving randomly within an area. Is it possible up upsample the position data so I can have x and y positions for every time point? How can I do this?

interp1() twice, once for x and once for y. (It turns out that you can combine those in the same call.)
