How to set up Altera Cyclone V SoC Development Kit for Embedded Coder Support Package?

I have performed steps successfully until step 9 -connect the hardware
but matlab unable to connect the device using JTAG (time-out error) how i need to setup the hardware? how to config the different jumpers on the board?

Hi Netanel,
Do you mean the serial connection (USB UART) is timing out?
Please set the jumper setting the same as the picture in page 12 of the board User Guide. Please make sure J28, J29, J30 is set the same as the picture.

Thank Wang!
I have done all this, yet it did'nt work until
  1. unplug the usb cable from USB-to-UART
  2. plug usb cable to the USB Blaster on the board
  3. verify that windows identify the USB Blaster driver(need to be install part of DS-5)
  4. finally re-plug the usb cable to USB-to-UART
i know it sounds not logic but in my case this is the only thing i try and it works! maybe i wrong, but i suggest others that come up with the same issue to try it...
