javacomponent in new releases?

Dear community,
i am currently using Matlab2011b on WIN7 64bit machine. I extensively use a lot of java components for making my project work. Therefore i use commands such as 'javacomponent'. In new releases of MATLAB, i do not find this command.
Is there any "easy" way how i could make the change from Matlab2011b to the latest release without making a lot of change within my code? Is there a way to use the 'javacomponent' command in latest releases of Matlab?

javacomponent still exists in the newest releases. It has simply never been documented by Mathworks.
