The difference of Fundamental Components Switch and normal Switch in SimpowerSystems.

I use Matlab 2015a and I want to make ON-off Circuit with Switch module in SimpowerSystems/Simscape components/Switches & Breakers.

But It can't connect with Resister at Simscape/Foundary Library/Electrical Elements. If I change the switch not Switches & Breakers but Foundamental Components's one, It can connect with Resister.

I couldn't understand the difference between these Single-Phase Switches.

You're using R2015a so you should have the domain-specific line colors.

Many of the Power Systems Simscape Components blocks are light blue, which means that they use the three-phase electrical domain. The Simscape resistor block is a darker blue, meaning it's in the single-phase electrical domain. This is why they won't connect to each other.

You have two options

• Use a Phase Splitter block to expose the three individual phases of the three-phase switch. Then, you should be able to connect single-phase Simscape blocks to each phase.
• Instead of the Simscape resistor block, use the Simscape Components - Passive Components library to add three-phase blocks such as RLC or Wye-Connected Load.

Thank you for your kind answer. I noticed that the Line colors may different the one,but I conceived my eye are bad so that I might mistake same colors to different colors.
