Polypace bugfinder R2018A does not start on ubuntu 18.04.1 LTS

1 view (last 30 days)
I have ubuntu 18.04.1 LTS and installed matlab R2018A. I can launch matlab without a problem. When launching bugfinder (from matlab terminal, or bash terminal) however, i get the welcome splash screen and the percentage indicates it is loading. The loading stops at 83% (always that number) and stops. After that my only way out is killing the process. Result is the same when i launch polyspace from bash or matlab terminal. No details on any terminal...
$ lsb_release -a
No LSB modules are available.
Distributor ID: Ubuntu
Description: Ubuntu 18.04.1 LTS
Release: 18.04
Codename: bionic
Problem started appearing after upgrading my ubuntu from 16.04 to 18.04. Matlab installation remained the same.
I tried https://nl.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/answers/373121-get-more-apps-doesn-t-work but that didn't work
Wanted to create a service request, but site seems unavailable for maintenance...

Hello,
Thanks for the information.
Alas, there is nothing here that could explain why there is a problem when Polyspace is starting. I suggest to contact the Technical support. Tell them that -debug ALL shows no error.
It's worth mentioning if you access the machine directly or via a remote connection (VNC, MobaXTerm...).
Best regards,
Alexandre
