multiple plane fitting for the 3D points

I am working on automated building detecting project and I have lidar points mostly above the buildings roofs.If I use any plane fitting algorithms, I am getting a single plane( for the whole study area). I need to get separate planes for each building roofs. Kindly help me with it.
