How can I roll back a MATLAB Update?

You cannot roll back MATLAB Updates after they have been installed.
In order to revert to a previous update, you will need to uninstall the current MATLAB version, then reinstall with the offline installation files. Offline installations are required for installing previous updates, as web installers are only available for the latest update level of a MATLAB release from our Downloads page.
Contact your License Administrator to retrieve the offline installation files for a specific update level of MATLAB. Depending on the release, the process is as follows:
 

For R2018b and later:

License Administrators can obtain an ISO with updates already applied. See the following Article for more information on downloading installation files for a specific update level:

For R2018a and earlier:

License Administrators can obtain an ISO for the general release (update 0 level) and apply the desired MATLAB update installation manually. For more information on obtaining the offline installation files for MATLAB and the desired MATLAB update, please refer to the following articles:
