How can I change the standard 15 s update time when using my own local Thingspeak server?

6 views (last 30 days)
Hello everyone,
Reading the forums some time ago and finding out that the Thingspeak restriction of 15 s update time of the channel can be leveraged by using a local Thingspeak server, I decided to proceed with the installation of Thingserver using the resources on git. I have successfully installed the server, but I don't know which file(s) should I modify to obtain a lower update time for my channels. Unfortunately, I couldn't find anywhere info about it.

One second updates are only supported on the ThingSpeak service. To get the one-second update rate, you will need to purchase a ThingSpeak license. For more information, take a look at this page: https://thingspeak.com/prices

Hello, Abdo! You should go to initializers->constants.rb (update_rate_limit =’1’)
and then to app->views->charts->html.show.erb 15000->1000
