Can I utilize my colleges simulink on my purchased copy of matlab on my computer?

Due to the current Coronavirus pandemic our courses are now online only for all classes. I purchased matlab knowing I could purchase simulink and other packages at a later time. I currently do not have the funds to purchase the rest of what I need for my class. Can I utilize my colleges license for simulink on my purchased copy of matlab on my computer? Or how can i do this the in the best manner so I have the tools I need for my course?

Sorry, but no. You cannot use a toolbox from another license on your computer. If you don't have the toolbox in your installation, you cannot use it. It will not work.

Possibly. If the college is running a network license manager serving MATLAB licenses, and is willing to give you access to that, then you could possibly configure your local system to know about the remote license manager. It would be common for this to require a Virtual Private Network access to the college's license manager.
If you have a Student license that is current (purchased within the last year) then you might be able to use MATLAB Online. MATLAB Online has Simulink installed. However, I am not positive that you would be able to access Simulink if your regular license does not include it.
