Error Stopping me from Installing Matlab

Whenever I try to install Matlab, I go to extract the setup file using poweriso, but near the end of the extraction process it tells me that there is an error extracting the last few files since they are being used by another process. It says I can ignore this error and I do and then I go through the rest of the setup process. But whe I put in my Activation Code and hit the next button, the setup closes down and I haven't installed Matlab. Can anyone tell me how to get around this problem? Thanks.
