I can add that I use the replace/replacechildren to get rid of the old data. Neither delete, cla, clf, does the job.. I always get "error: deleted handle" or new figure windows pop up (even though I'm never telling it to), etc.... So a pure re-plot is what I seem to want.
Fetch Data Cursor on figure update

Hi.
I've re-directed the Data Cursor callback to my own function. In there I like to re-draw a figure given new x,y-values (collected from the cursor). This works well when clicking the mouse on the plot, but not when moving the pressed mouse over the plot, to make it continuos. This is because the new plot replaces the old on (set(h, 'NextPlot', 'replace')), which feels natural.
So, any suggestions on how to make the cursor understand that it should update/fetch the x,y,z-values upon plot re-draw, from the new figure?
Thanks.
