Xflow examines image files and attempts to separate droplets, voids, and the central jet appearing in the image.
An adjustable threshold based on Otsu's method (ref.1) is used to segment the base image data.
Automated analysis for Sauter mean diameter of droplets, periodic features of the jet, and droplet and void statistics are possible with Xflow.
Background reduction using user-selected background images as well as basic functions such as image cropping are included under the Tools menu.
Note: This analysis tool is under development. Changes are forthcoming. Constructive comments, suggestions, and feature requests are appreciated.
