Native MATLAB linearization tools, linmod, linmod2, linmodv5 and dlinmod are designed only for Simulink models. This code provides a complement to these tools to linearize nonlinear dynamic systems described by normal MATLAB functions. It uses the complex step differentiation therefore high accuracy acchieved.

The code is heavily commented so that it can be used as a tutorial for beginners to learn linearization.
