Extract switching behavior from LTSpice MOSFETs
The files provide a workflow to extract the characteristic switching behavior ic(vGE, vCE) from LTSpice standard MOSFET devices to Lookup Table Data, that can for example be used with the N-Channel IGBT block from Simscape Electrical.
The current flowing through a switching device is a nonlinear function of the Gate-Emitter and Collector Emitter voltage (vGE, vCE). LTSpice network simulator from Analog Devices provides many switching devices as part of the standard library.
The workflow runs LTSpice simulations from MATLAB to generate the Lookup Table Data, which will be used in the N-Channel IGBT block of Simscape Electrical with the option "Lookup Table (2-D, temparature independent).
It is required to have a LTSpice installation.
It uses the File Exchange Submissesion 23394 from Paul Wagner to import the .raw data from the LTSpice simulation to MATLAB:
