CylinderTest is a graphical interface (GUI) that is designed to help the experimenter to analyse the behaviour test.
The GUI enables the user to replay the recorded videos at slow motion and also frame-by-frame.
The horizontal contacts are registered by clicking on the buttons "left" and "right", indicating contacts made by left or right forelimb. When the button is clicked, the time, at which the horizontal contact was made, will be recorded.
Time zero is defined as the time, where the first horizontal contact is made.
This GUI offers data analysis, documentation, and comparison of reproducibility between experimenters.

The Cylinder test was originally developed by Jones and Schallert (1994) and adapted by Kirik and colleagues (2000) to examine the motor performance of unilateral rodent models of Parkinson's disease.
