Sarah Drewes is a senior consultant who helps customers develop MATLAB based algorithms to meet their business goals. Sarah is a specialist in mathematical modeling and optimization who has experience in solving complex optimization problems in a variety of application areas such as communications, finance, image processing, and automotive. Before joining MathWorks, Sarah was a technical consultant in the telecommunications industry focusing on network modeling and optimization projects. She received a Ph.D. in mathematics from the Technische Universität Darmstadt and a diploma in mathematics from the Technische Universität München. She spent an academic year as a lecturer and postdoctoral associate at the department of industrial engineering and operations research at University of California, Berkeley.
