Tips and Tricks for Large-Scale Model-Based Design

In this two-part webinar series MathWorks engineers present a series of examples to educate Simulink users on key basic constructs that are essential for successful development of large-scale models. Rather than presenting a single “best” modeling style, these examples focus on teaching fundamental concepts that the user can combine in an educated way to optimize a modeling style for his/her own application. Through product demonstrations, we discuss common areas of interest including:

  • Subsystem boundaries and controlling execution order
  • Virtual and Atomic subsystems in libraries
  • Libraries and model reference
  • Parameter definitions
  • Parameters and signal implementation
  • Signal groupings
  • Interface definitions
