Do you have HPC Cluster Admin experience at your university or companyDo you support technical applications on HPC platforms?  In this customer facing role, you will lead technical engagements by building out implementation plans for deploying MATLAB Parallel Server either on-prem or in the cloudYou will also work with MATLAB/Simulink users to scale their code and models to HPC systems. 

Responsibilities

  • Work with IT / System Administrators in the configuration and integration of MATLAB Parallel Server via email, phone, and (occasionally) in person. 
  • Work with account representatives in the identification, evaluation, and qualification of potential MATLAB Parallel Server opportunities. 
  • Work with MathWorks' Application Engineers, Advanced Support Engineers, and Install & Licensing Specialists with escalation issues. 
  • Provide customer feedback to product development and marketing.
  • Provide hands-on coaching sessions to MATLAB and Simulink users

Minimum Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree and 3 years of professional work experience (or a master's degree, or equivalent experience) is required.
  • Demonstrated experience in/with MATLAB
  • Demonstrated experience in/with Linux

Additional Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience with HPC schedulers (e.g., Slurm, PBS)
  • Experience with network troubleshooting
  • Programming experience with MATLAB
  • Experience with AWS or Azure is a plus
  • Experience with Containers is a plus
  • Experience with Parallel Computing is a plus
  • Experience with GPU computing is a plus
