Individual License Administration
An Individual License enables a single named user to run MathWorks® software on a limited number of computers. To administer an Individual License, add a user to the license so that you or your users can install products.
Add User to License
To add a user to an Individual License, follow these steps:
From the License Center, in the license list, click the product license to which you want to add the user.
On the Manage Users tab, click Add Users.
Enter the user's email address and other information, and click Add User.
Click Done and verify that the user appears in the list of users on the license.
Install Products
To install MathWorks products for individuals, select one of the following installation options.
Standard Installation
To perform a standard online installation, follow the instructions in Download and Install MATLAB.
This installation requires a MathWorks Account. To have users install products, they must sign in or create a MathWorks with the email address you used to add them to the license.
Offline Installation
To install products on an offline machine, follow these steps:
Retrieve the license file and file installation key associated with the license. For instructions, see Where can I find my license file and file installation key?
On a machine that can connect to the internet, download the installer and product installation files. For instructions, see Download Products Without Installing.
Move the license file, file installation key, installer, and product installation files to the offline machine and run the installer to complete the installation process. For instructions, see Install Products on Offline Computer.
