Keyboard Shortcuts for Signal Analyzer

You can use several keyboard shortcuts to facilitate working with the Signal Analyzer app.


On Macintosh platforms, use the Command key instead of Ctrl.

General Actions

Start a new sessionCtrl+N
Open a sessionCtrl+O
Save a sessionCtrl+S
Link or unlink a displayCtrl+U
Delete a signalDel
Copy a display to the clipboardCtrl+C

Multichannel Signals

Expand signal hierarchyCtrl+Shift+=
Collapse signal hierarchyCtrl+=


Zoom in X-axis (time or frequency)Ctrl+Shift+T
Zoom in Y-axisCtrl+Shift+Y
Zoom in X and YCtrl++ (numeric keypad only)
Zoom outCtrl+- (numeric keypad only)
Fit to viewSpacebar
Fit colormap to current power limitsCtrl+Spacebar
Cancel zoom operation or signal draggingEsc

Data Cursors

Show a data cursorCtrl+I
Hide all data cursorsShift+Del
Move a selected data cursor to the next data pointRight arrow
