Matrix times factor, how can one factor be multiplied with all elements of a matrix individually?

hey,
i would like to multiply a matrix A(10 30, 20 50) with a factor affecting all values of the matrix individually. E.g. factor 0.8 would result in A(8 24, 16 40). Thx so much.

A=[10 30; 20 50]
B=A*0.8
