Problem with solve function in 2011a (doesn't seem to work as well as 2008a)

Hello,

I have a program that I used to run in 2008a which relies on the solve() function to find an explicit solution to a system of multiple equations.

When I try to run it in 2011a the program no longer works (gives an unable to find explicit solution).

Any suggestions on how to fix this? I just re ran it on my old machine and confirmed it works fine with 2008a.

without the actual problem it's difficult to diagnose or give a suggestion. Since this should not happen, I would suggest to contact the Technical Support from MathWorks ...
