watershed:Results of watershed on same image with different intensity range

hi, I feel puzzled when I used the watershed to segment a image in different format, one,the intensity is in [0~1] and other the intensity is in [0~255], I get different results. I don't know why? please help me. thanks.

I don't think there should be a difference unless it's due to some kind of integer quantization error. Are both images floating point? Other than that, you'd have to post the URL of your image, and your code, so that people could try it.

I got the answer, that is after transformation the image to range [0~1] by im2double, then multiplied by an integer,(i.e. 20, not 255), so the result is different from one the image is in [0~255] by im2uint8.
