regarding representing x axis for more than 11 values

Hi, I want to represent my own values in xaxis and it exceeds 15 values. I tried with xTick and many of those. I could not represent that way for instance, i should have values like x = [8 5 2 5 3 5 6 9 7 5 10 4 1 4 7 7 11]. The maximum value that i can represent is 11 as the default set is 11. How can i increase it. Can anyone please help me with this.

Are you taking into account that you have duplicate values in x ?
