Can you use bvp4c in cylindrical coordinates?

Hello,
I have a short MATLAB program from a previous question: Previous Question
This program solves the equation y'' = sinh(y). I would like to solve this same equation, but this time in cylindrical coordinates. It isn't clear to me that I can use bvp4c to do this, and I was wondering if anyone knows how to do this.
