Can someone help me with MatLab downloading agent?

I am having difficulties in downloading MatLab. I had already downloaded it a week ago on my Mac Pro, but I was never able to open it. I figured out that I needed to update to 10.7 or later, since I had 10.6.8. Therefore, I had followed the suggestions from MatLab to be able to open up the file. However, it still didn't work. I just deleted all MatLab files off my Mac, deactivated the license then activated it back, and tried re-installing it. Now, my problem is when I try to download MatLab again, the downloading agent never launches so I launch it myself (provided by a downloading link at the bottom of the page), but it still doesn't want to launch. Now it is saying that the downloading agent can't open because it's from an "unidentified developer." I am out of ideas in downloading MatLab: Student to my MacBook Pro 10.9..? Please, help.
