It worked fine for me, after I got rid of your blank lines. Please read this: http://www.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/answers/13205-tutorial-how-to-format-your-question-with-markup

Here's the code properly formatted:
f = figure('Position',[100 100 400 150]);
dat = {6.125, 456.3457, true, 'Fixed';...
6.75, 510.2342, false, 'Adjustable';...
7, 658.2, false, 'Fixed';};
columnname = {'Rate', 'Amount', 'Available', 'Fixed/Adj'};
columnformat = {'numeric', 'bank', 'logical', {'Fixed' 'Adjustable'}};
columneditable = [false false true true];
t = uitable('Units','normalized','Position',...
[0.1 0.1 0.9 0.9], 'Data', dat,...
'ColumnName', columnname,...
'ColumnFormat', columnformat,...
'ColumnEditable', columneditable,...
'RowName',[]);
It does not produce a "Attempt to call constructor uitable with incorrect letter case" error.
Tip: In MATLAB, type control-A then control-I to properly indent your code. Then in the Answers edit box, do not click {}Code first but paste in the code first. Then highlight the code and THEN click {}Code.
