How can I add a trigger value as a scalar value?

For example
If my force reaches F = 60 N, I want to start Damping my system, no matter what force is after that. so my condition needs to be true at least once, and once it is true it needs to be read as true for all the instances after that.
Is anything like this possible in Simulink? I'd erally appreciate if any of you could show me how.
