How can i load image one by one with a push button from a folder in gui?

How can i load image one by one with a push button from a folder? Whenever i push the button on gui i want to see a picture and when i push it again i want to see the next picture from the folder.

Can somebody help me with this, because i can load the images from my folder but it shows me like a fast slide show, but i want it to change the image when ever i push the next push button
