my project is to take a variable from matlab which will give values such as 0 or 1 or 2 and then light LED on Arduino DUE in different patterns based on the input. Please help me as soon as possible. :O

In a function in Matlab, I am getting a variable which gives only three values ie. 0, 1, 2 and I want to light up LEDs with these input.
I AM A COMPLETE NEWBIE AND A STEP BY STEP EXPLANATION (including what packages to download) WILL MAKE ME GRATEFUL TO THE ANSWERER. :D

So you are trying to do something too difficult for you as a complete newbie. Why not learn the basics first, rather than asking someone else to do your work for you?
Make an effort.
