How to combine duplicate rows in excel and sum the values in Matlab?

help pls. how about if i have this kind of excel file in which contains 8 columns (name,value1,value2, value3, value 4, value 5, value 6, value 7) but many duplicated rows. what i want to output is the summarizing or addition of same name. how can i do this?

what type are your variables? Strings, numbers...
