Cylindrical histogram

Hi, I want to plot a 3D histogram like the one that you can make with the rose function but the problem is that I want to do something like plotting over this rose another rose and so on for several layers. In the end we should see a cylindrical discrete histogram in several layers. Is this posible with matlab?
