program to identify a tv channel using logo matching

Hey guys!..so i am currently working on a project to identify which channel is being viewed by a person using image processing. The method we're using is attached. As we have a time constraint and are fairly new to matlab, it would be really beneficial if you can help us out. Thank you, please help in any way possible.

I would start by purchasing the Computer Visions System Toolbox. From there, you can train the detectors to identify the logos for you or do template matching etc.
