Read text file store required information in matrix form as described below

Hello Dears,

Need MATLAB code to read text file and store in matrix form (name of the matrix is the Report name at the top of the page) of the data specified under the heading Item Open Close (skipping the doted horizontal line)

Finally I want to store the data in the from (2 matrixes) One matric form is Item 2nd matrix the corresponding Open close values.

The file, RainFallReport.txt|, is that a small sample or is it the actual file that you want to read? Possibly you have many files with the same format.

Your chances to get a good answer increases if you describe in some detail the data structure (variables) you want the reading function to return.
