MATLAB - 'Getting Status for Files' - Yosemite problem

2 views (last 30 days)
Hi,
I am Running Matlab R2014b on a Macbook running Yosemite. Since making the upgrade to Yosemite Matlab has been very slow, and has now become unusable. As soon as I start up I get a message at the base of the Working Directory Panel saying:
'Getting status for files: Cancel'
I cannot cancel this process and it has made Matlab unusable. I have tried reinstalling Matlab and I am running the latest version.
Any help appreciated.
Alex

Try turning off source code control integration as described here.
