How to train a SVM using te extracted Minutia?

I am doing a project on Fingerprint recognition used in multimodal authentication system. Now I have extracted the minutia features.And I dont know how to save them I mean in which format. I need to train the SVM for classifiction. please anyone guide me through this process.
