Before I even GET to calling python 3.9 from MATLAB 2022a, on windows 10, 64-bit, how do I download python 3.9?
The general guidance seems to be to go to the python, org site and start downloading stuff. However, this is
what I see - a mysterious list of "stuff." So which of these do I need to download?
- Python 3.9.13 - May 17, 2022Note that Python 3.9.13 cannot be used on Windows 7 or earlier.
- Download Windows embeddable package (32-bit)
- Download Windows embeddable package (64-bit)
- Download Windows help file
- Download Windows installer (32-bit)
- Download Windows installer (64-bit)

I am not on a Windows machine, but I am pretty confident you want to download and run the last one you listed, the 64-bit Windows installer. (Note that it is listed as "Recommended.")
